Im lookin at NEWEGG for a particular computer case that im interested in getting. It has 2 listings one for $79.00 which is new, and another which is $59.00 but is listed as Refurbished and OEM/BAREBONE. The question i am asking is why would a computer case be refurbished, and what does OEM/BAREBONE mean when buying a case.

Here's the case i want

Maybe the case had a dent in the side or something. Or the customer decided to swallow 15% and return it. Maybe the power supply was faulty and since they both come in one package, both got returned. They stuck in a new PS, and now it's refurbished.

it was probably returned for whatever reason, they can't resell it as new, thus, after they tape the box back up, it becomes "refurbished" ;)
