question about my sig

i have an issue with my sig. right now, i only have links to my ebay refs and my heatware in my sig. when i try to add a link to my rig, i get a msg telling me that my sig has surpassed the 255 character limit. but i even did the dirty task of maually counting each and every characeter, and i only count up about 211. here is what i am try to put:

|L=ebay|http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/honest.hank/|/L|

|L=heatware|http://heatware.elitehardware.com/view.shtml?action=list&option=spankyoo7|/L|

i replaced the brackets with "|" so you can see exactly what i am putting. shouldn't that be able to fit in my sig? am i doing something wrong? this sig isn't too long is it? could someone tell me how i can get those three links into my sig? thanx!
