Am using Elite duo - both cordless....

I am thinking of getting a MX700, but am wondering is it possible to use the port for the MX700 to synchronize with the keyboard as well? Does anyone have any experience?

Thanks :D

ive got them both, and i just plug both recievers in, works fine. Took my batteries out of the original mouse and put it away. I wish logitec would get off their butt and bundle the mx700 with a keyboard, the only thing i can imagine is that they are trying to give it a rechargeable base too

here's for clarification:

The receiver port for the mouse is on the charger itself... can we just plug that in and also use it with the k/b? Seems to be that both of you plugged both the receiver for the keyboard in and the one for the mouse as well - hope I dun have to do that.. (*only have 2 USB ports - how sad :()

try this.

use the USB from the Keyboard Duo and the adapter for the PS/2 port they will give you for the mouse and plug it into the PS/2 port. :)

I'll wait for bluetooth before I go cordless. I've heard about this new cordless bluetooth mouse & keyboard combo from Microsoft for a year now...haven't seen it on the shelves (not the same as their 'Blue' mouse series.)

They did bundle it with the cordless elite keyboard in the elite mx duo bundle.
They have it at staples and newegg.
