As far as monthly expenses go, is there anything I am missing?

Rent
Car Insurance
Food
Cable TV and Internet
Water
Gas and Electric
Credit Card Payments OR ING DIRECT
Car Gas
Car Maintenance
Entertainment
Unforseen expense budget

Anything I am missing?
 
Agree with the renter's insurance, and specify that you want replacement value not actual value of goods or else you'll get jacked when you make a claim.
 
you should budget money for entertainment (going out, meals not at home etc) so that it doesn't come out of "unforeseen expenses" every month.
