question about monarch combos and DIY

i have never buily a computer fully, ive done dvd roms and ram but never done cpus. would i be better off getting a combo from monarch to have them test and get free games sense its $2 cheaper then seaparte parts and it ocme with game?

please give your optinons on it

I just built a computer with a combo from Monarch, and I'm very happy with it so far. They test the board and cpu to make sure they're not duds, and they do that for memory if you include that as well. I put my own Corsair value ram in. Packaging was very neat too. I've ordered a few things from them with no problems.

well ive ordered a gig of ram for my new build which is currently running my p4 that im using right now so i know that they work. i also have atsuami case and 520w modstream sitting next to me no ti just need the rest. so looks like that what im going to do thanks

If you plan to play the games they will give you for free it maybe cheaper to buy a combo instead of individual parts.

Include the cost of the games into the cost of the parts & I'd bet that the combos are cheaper.

Just my 2 cents.
