Question about microphone loop

I have a question, i just bought a headset and when i try it out on CS:Source it loops a constant playback of what I say. Everything checks out in windows, why is it doing this? I'm using it on my laptop.

The mic input in the audio control panel is not muted in your loudspeakers. Mute it's output and you'll end the loop.
