question about memory

i got a x2 3800 and i managed to over clock it to 2.7ghz but what im not sure about the memory...whether i should have a higher fsb and loose timings or low fsb and tighter timings...right now its at 270mhz 3-3-3-8-1T...what should i do?

also i'm new to the x2 line of a64's is there any drivers i should get? or that amd x2 optimizer?
