Question about memory compatibility...

My brother currently has 25MB of RDRAM that came with his Dell that he bought about three years ago. Now, he wants to upgrade to have 512mb of ram (maybe more), but I read on Crucial.com that he cannot use SDRAM at all. Is that right? Then, that leads me to this question? Where can I buy RDRAM? I couldn't find it at Crucial nor Kingston. Or would you recommend some other solution?
BTW, he has a Dimension 8100 1.3ghz.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, he's going to hold off and buy a new computer, probably in the Fall if there's a good deal, or otherwise, he'll try to build it.
