You asked if Cheney's daughter is supporting his campaign. I was merely pointing out that just because she is gay it doesn't necessarily follow that she wants to get married to a woman or that she should not support her father's campaign. I don't see why Bush or Cheney have to state anything about Cheney's daughter. What does one have to do with the other?

Here is what will happen. Gay marriage will be allowed and then 10 years from now the media will be quoting statistics about how divorce is more prevalent now than it was 10 years ago.

Both the dems and the repubs in this election are actually opposed to gay marriage. However the dems believe that gays should be allowed civil union that would give them the same tax implications, hospital visitation rights, life insurance benefits, etc. that a heterosexual marriage would have.
