question about making queso

so I put sme velveeta cheese, and some meat in a slow cooker, and it is set on high. After Im done eating, can I leave the melted cheese and meat in the slow cooker and keep it heating?

It's ok right?

i would think you would want to stir it around a bit as to not to burn the cheese at the bottom (depending how low your low heat is)

I've never tried it, but the last queso (con carne, to be precise) I had was made with that plus pace picante salsa and cream of mushroom soup. It was pretty good.

You can do it if you want but not for to long. Queso doesn't have any meat in it. Queso has only cheese and chile (Rotel).

not queso con carne (what we shortcut and call queso) 🙂 we put sausage or hamburger in it as well 🙂
