question about mailing stuff....

I need to mail one of those x-shape piano-keyboard stands to someone, and I dont have a box to fit....When I brought it, it didn't have a box, and I looked everywhere, and all the boxes are too small for the stand to go into.

It is just one piece of metal, and I wish I can send it with no box.....................if I take it to the post office, will they have anything or can they just mail it like that?

it's not heavy at all, just to bars of metal put into a x-fashion. I would say 3 or 4 lbs.

It's long, about 3 or 4 feet long, and it's wide too...........whenever I close it just doesn't fit into any box

take it to ups or fedex they have materials there.

something that big will probably be cheaper going fed ex ground or airbourne.
