Question about Madden 2005 on PS2.

how does the between season draft work if you dont have NCAA 2005 to import a college draft class? Does it recycle retired and carreer ended by injury people into the draft pool?

I have no idea. I would guess that it just creates new players with random names just like NCAA does for recruits.

I'll warn you right now: the players it creates are terrible. They always have one ability that's so low it makes them completely worthless. One year I got a receiver that was just ridiculous. He had high-90's in everything: SPD, AGI, ACC, JMP, CTH... but he had a 25 STA. I mean, what good does it do me to have a guy out there that only lasts one play?

I finally went out and bought NCAA because it was the only way to get decent draft picks.

WOW, talk about a complimentary product... So they screw you if you don't have NCAA?
