Question about Madden 2003

I started a franchise mode, playing a season with the Rams. It's the middle of the 3rd quarter and all of sudden I notice that my running back is dropping passes and my qb is missing throws. I take a closer look and I realize that both Kurt Warner and Marshall Fault are out of the game replaced by the backups. The score is 27-17 so it's not like it's a blowout. Now, I have no idea how long this has been going on, it very much might've been since the beginning of the game. Any ideas why this would happen?

Are you still in pre-season? If so, it replaces your first string players with your second string at the half.

I only said that cause I hate when playing people online.. 99% of the people choose the Rams. :[

I didn't know it had pre-season play as well. Madden 2002 didn't as far as I remember. And yeah, I'd play with the giants (my team) but they suck

yep, seemingly everyone picks the rams. Raiders get picked a lot too

As far as I've seen.. it's always Rams..

I pick the Raiders or Steelers myself though.. :\

I believe there is an option in the menu that's called "Auto-sub fatigued players" or something like that. Turn it off to stop that from happening, but make sure your players don't get too tired.

On the PS2, I like to use the NY Giants when my roommate and I play against each other. Single player I like to use the Bengals.
