I just bought a marantz sr5005 receiver and a pair of focal chorus 726V speakers. The TV is a samsung UA46d5500
This is my first venture into home theater and I am loving it so far (much better sound quality compared to the TV speakers).
Currently I am hooking up a mac mini (one generation prior to the latest one) using HDMI to the receiver. But when I play a 1080p mkv movie file, I can only hear the music but the vocals of the actors is muted. Is this issue due to the lack of processing power of the mac mini? Or I have some set up issues?
If I play other movie files the sound comes out ok (also if I hook up the mac mini directly to the TV, no issue with the sound)
