question about logitech harmony remotes

if i want to control a projector that i have lost the remote for, and it shows up in logitech's online database, does that mean that the appropriate codes/instructions will be stored in the harmony? or do you need the original remote even if the item is in the online database?

it seems you have mistaken ATOT for logitech support.

You upload the codes from the computer, so you don't need the original remotes to program it.

One of my physics teachers last year knew the guy who developed the remote and later sold it to Logitech.
