Question about laptop memory upgrade

I have a Toshiba 2515CDS laptop and I would like to add 128 meg of RAM to it. Apparently this chip isn't made for my laptop anymore. According to the product specification it is a 144pin, 60ns, 3.3V, EDO DRAM. Can I just get a generic PC66 144-pin SODIMM that runs at 3.3V? Will this wreck my laptop or the memory?? Any recommendations on what to do?

This memory is very hard to come by. The last time we stocked some, we got it from Southland Micro Systems (SMS). Toshiba's part number should be KTT-305/128. Again this memory is hard to come by and you HAVE to have EDO memory, SDRAM will not work. The reason it is expensive is that the PCB was small and it is hard to find large capacity EDO memory chips (at least that is what I am told). I think we had also had some from Viking Components. Make sure it is compatible with the above number or it won't work or fit your laptop.
