Question about job application

I am probably going to be filling out an application for a job. Part of the job requirement is experience in a certain field. I have a certificate of 6 hours of training in the required field.

Should I include a copy of the certificate with the application, or just list the certificate on the application?

Resumes are accepted, but I still have to fill out the application. I guess application + resume looks better then just an application?
