Does anyone know if moving the drives from this controller (setup as JBOD volume) will allow me to retain the data ?
I'd like to move one of the drive from this controller to another computer, but I cant afford to loose the data, and I dont have extra space to back it up.
One thing I remember, when I move a drive from a different computer to this controller, it was recoqnized as Legacy drives, and worked just fine.
When I deleted the drive and enable it as JBOD (to use the read/write cache), windows recoqnized the drive as brand new drive, and I have to re-partition and format it....
I wonder how it goes the other way around...... Has anybody experienced with this ??
