Question about ISDN

I am thinking of adding ISDN at home for internet and have a few questions. Do I need to maintain a "phone service" plan with the local telco. We cut the landline cord a few years ago, using our cell phones for everything. The cheapest plan I can get would be 30.00 a month. The house was rewired using cast5e a while back so internal wiring should no be an issue.
 
It will depend on your telco/provider as to what you have to maintain service wise.

But they will need the copper wire to your house.
