Question about ipod

Ok i have an ipod with music from my home computer on it, how can I load more music on it with my laptop without having itunes erase everything on it first?

(a little background the last time i had my ipod hooked onto my friends computer to download 2 songs it deleted everything on my ipod cause it didnt find any of the songs on it on the computer)

Also my ipod has 24gb of music while my laptop has only 4 gb free

or just go to the properties menu under the edit tab in iTunes, go to the iPod tab, and choose 'control playlist manually'.

this happened to me. itunes is evil.

Itunes is teh debil. My friend had all of his music deleted off of his computer using it. Luckly he had just formatted and all his backup was still on my computer.

ml_iPod is also good, developed by the developers of WinAmp, to be used as a plugin for WinAmp

it will let you use your Pod as a HDD as well
