question about installing patches

i reformmated my computer, and recently installed COD:UO again.. this might sound stupid but do i need to install all the patches, or can i just install the newest patch? thanks in advance

In most cases you should be able to download the latest patch that includes all the others. Most sites give you the option of either a small update patch say 1.5-1.6 or the 1.6 including all other patches.
