question about installing new computer

i want to know how do i know if the motherboard is not good or the cpu is no good.

and i only have this motherboard and cpu to try.

Hmm. Well, what I would do is probably run prime95 (never tired it, i've only read about it here, sorry) to see if any errors occur. Are you experiencing some symptoms?
