if i make changes to files in INETPUB, should they show up automatically on the webpage??

i make changes and the old page comes up no matter what computer i am on!! can someone please shed some light??

Have you tried refreshing the page / clearing cache before trying to view the changed page?

yes i tried that 🙁 all i did was update the files. i assumed that it would show when i tried to access the page. i tried to access it from 3 different machines. no luck!! 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

Saving the changes? Does this webserver cache the files for some reason? Maybe restart the process if you are sure you're changes are saved and it's not cached by the clients or a proxy server.

stop and then restart IIS, if that doesnt work then make sure you dont have some kinda cache, either local or proxy thats keeping the old page.

{edit} thats assuming you are using IIS, if not then stop/resart whatever service you are running 🙂
