Question about i7 Overclocking

I'm considering overclocking my i7-965, but after some searches on this forum, I'm a little worried. Right now, my CPU is using all Auto parameters on my Asus P6T deluxe, except for the RAM speed. I have that set to DDR3-1600 because I have the OCZ gold set rated for that speed. The thing I'm worried about is that both Core Temp and Real Temp are reporting 47 C for core 0, with the remaining 3 tapering down. This is at the standard 25x133 clock. That seems awfully high. I have the Monsoon III LT cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16835702007), so I'd expect lower temperatures. The topics I found on here mentioned that HT adds 10-15 C onto the temp. So is that about inline for this CPU? I'm worried about OCing because every result I've seen is for the i7-920, so I'm not sure what to expect from mine. If my temperatures are appropriate, would you recommend I disable HT and overclock, or just leave it on? I'm sorry if this was asked before, I didn't see anything

Thanks in advance for the help, sorry for the big block of text

EDIT: So I just disabled HT and rebooted and...got the exact same temperatures. Is it just because it's running at 3.33GHz?
