My employer informed me that in 60 days from yesterday I will no longer be able to work full time, I will have only 28 hours. I have worked 45 hours a week for the last three years. I was told that because of the new laws anyone who works over 28 hours has to be offered health benefits, is there any truth to this? I live in WI and the company has over 4,000 employees if that matters.

Looks like that mandate does occur - in 2014 - or the employer has to pay a fine. You'll be required to pay a fine if you don't get health insurance at that point.

Maybe there's a state mandate?
