Consider day 1 first day after period stops
Days 1-5 Nothing spectacular happens
Days 5-12 Somewhere in here she will start to ovulate... She is at her HORNIEST here, about two weeks before her period. May notice increased natural lubrication...he.he...
Some are horny when they are actually on their period, mine is.
Important to make her not feel "gross" as most girls are self-concious enough.

Birth control pills often make women have lighter flows, though not all, and it may affect ovulation as well.
