Question about Getting a Replacement.

Recently my Hp cd-writer, which is still under warranty, broke down so i called the customer support and they said i needed a replacement.
Do I have to send the box, recept, and the drive with its acessories or just the drive itself?

First time getting a replacement part so im kinda confused on how it works.
