Question about gaming controller

Hi all.

I am looking to buy a gaming controller for PC. However, i am confused, as to how many games support the gaming controller. Or to put it more simply, which gaming controller works in all the games. Will the Xbox/Xbox 360 controller work for all games?

Any game that supports Game Controllers will support a xbox 360 controller, So far I haven't found a game that wont work with the 360 controller. The only complaint with the xbox 360 controllers is that there is no way to control the dead zone on them though the drivers. If the game does not allow you to set the dead zone then the controller at times be very very sensitive. There are ways around the dead zone issue. The XBCD drivers for the normal xbox controllers, lets you install xobx 360 drivers, they are still beta but they let you have some dead zone control.
