Question about games in general.

Alright, Does buying a bunch of games of a particular type(like Diablo 2-type games) and then trying them all at once make one burned out of that type? Someone on another forum told me that if I bought a bunch of games that were similar in gameplay and then tried them all at once, then I'd just get burned out and not want to play any of them.

You'd probably be less likely to give them all a fair chance.

What kind of games are you planning to buy or is this just hypothetical?

I'd say yes but it's not much of a concern, just don't force yourself to play a game if you are getting tired of it. Rotate between various genres as you see fit.

I have Diablo 2 and love playing it on battle.net, but i'm thinking of getting Titan Quest, Fate, and whatever other Diablo 2 clones are out there.

It does for me.

Me too.
I try and mix up my FPS, RPGs, racing and action games or else it seems like games are are too similar and i get really bored.

My recent games i finished were.
Crysis Warhead (FPS)
then
Fallout 3 (RPG)
then
Dead Space (third person/ horror/action)

It does for me, I played KOTOR 1 + 2, mass effect 2x, then tried to play the witcher....waaaay too much RPG in a row...took a couple months off though, came back and loved finishing the witcher.
Now I just purchased Painkiller from GOG- so fast paced I can't play it very long, but fun as hell =)

Sorta, I mean I can't go from one racing game to another, I'd go crazy. FPS games are easier to switch on and off back to back, but I tend to mix it up as well.

A little RTS at first, then some good FPS, a sports game, then perhaps mix it up with a game like GTA4 or Burnout.

Well, too much of something is just like not enough, it applies to everything in life including video games.
