Is there a way to turn off the on-screen notifications? For example, when you turn the volume up, the giant green letters come on-screen saying 'VOLUME' with the bars? can you turn this function off anywhere?

Thanks.

Get a new keyboard that isn't a waste of money? I never understood why people liked this keyboard why the hell do you need a display on your keyboard IMO it doesn't even look nice not to mention the fact that it's way over priced for a keyboard.

edit: there should be some software that came with the keyboard try messing with that also go to the logitech site and see if they have some forums or something where you can find some people that this also annoyed.

I believe if you uncheck the item "Immediate Display of High Priority Items", it will do that for you. The option is in Settings -> LCD Control Panel -> LCD Settings tab.

And w00t. The best thing about the kb isn't just the LCD. It is useful (I have mine on CPU & RAM useage, so I know when BOINC isn't running normal), but the best thing about the kb is the "G" keys. Completely programmable, with multiple instances, all easy changed out. I have two setups right now, one for default use that runs programs, opens up different drives & folders, etc. The other is for Guild Wars (which is invluable).
