question about fs/ft rules

is it wrong if you have bumped recently but then edited your post to reflect a significant price drop and then make a reply stating that you've dropped the price or is that still considered just a bump? I guess it would be best if a mod answered this.

You'd be surprised. There are bump-nazis there like there are repost nazis here in ATOT. That being said I think you'd be ok as long as you're not abusing the forum.
