question about front license plate in CA

I just got a parking ticket for not having front license plates on!!! wtf is this.. I never have my front plates on since I have the car (and also on my last car). Can I correct this and not pay the fine??

WTF? Didn't know they gave parking tickets for the license plate thing. Usually cops can pull you over and give you a fix it ticket. You fix it, provide proof and pay like 10 bucks or something.

Well, this happened in Texas.

My old roommate got pulled over because he didn't have a front license plate. He got ticketed, but was able to get it fixed and just have to pay that small fee or whatever.

Last time my mom got pulled over for not having her front license plate on, they made her go down to the station (in the area where she got pulled over [Norwalk]) so the officer who gave the ticket could inspect the vehicle and then let her pay the fine. She got off without paying because the officer was never available and they let her slide. She put the plate on the car though.

I got the ticket at downtown LA... so I think LA county..

and yea this was for my bimmer
it just looks ulgy if I put the front license plate... I might have to..

Everyone else in the state has to display a plate on the front of their vehicle, but not me, I'm special.
