Question about Fable 2 on XBL.

Do any of you know if the FABLE 2 Episode 1 on XBLA is the same as the retail version sold on disc? I tried it and like it.

It's exactly the same, just broken up into episodes.

Isn't fable 2 a platinum hit by now? I'd recommend just buying the whole game, so you can at least sell it or give it away when you're done.

Does anyone know if you download the free first episode... and end up buying the physical copy if your saved game will transfer over?

Pretty sure they don't work. I had a save from the retail copy about 10 minutes in and it wouldn't load in the free episode.

I don't think it is completely on Live yet. Just the first episode. You should be able to get it new for less than $30 though.

afaik, you download episode 1 and when you get to the start of part 2 you get the option to buy the next part and so on.

Each episode is 800 MS Points ($10). So, you're looking at $40 to purchase episodes 2 through 5.

Just buy the disk.

Yes, your saved game does transfer over. I did the exact same thing (downloaded episode 1, bought game from Amazon).

Fable is pretty fun game. It isn't worth $60 but for the price I paid for it (free with purchase of Rock Band Beatles and Lego Rock Band) I got my money's worth.

Btw, is there any penalty\reward for Bigamy? My Hero married Alex to complete a quest but he's thinking of becoming a morman.
