I just transferred from ING. So once they take your initial deposit, does it immediately start accruing interest in your ED account, even though I can't login and see it yet? (I have to wait for snail-mail info to log into the site).

Also, does emigrant show day by day how much you are accruing?

The initial transfer starts accruing interest immediately even though you can't see it yet.

For normal transfers, it takes about 2-3 business days to clear my checking account and show up in Emigrant. I imagine as soon as you authorize the transaction it starts accruing interest.
