And this is done by just bidding again, right?
I remember in the past I ended up outbidding myself when I bid a second time, effectively raising the price of the auction to past my first bid. Hopefully, they've changed this.

Let's say I bid $50 on an eBay item and I am the current higher bidder at $40. If I later decide that I'm willing to pay up to $70 for the item, how do I raise my maximum bid amount without outbidding my previous bid?
