Question about Easy Transfer.

I plan to use this to back up my Internet settings, Favorites and my email settings & messages when I move from the Windows 7 beta (7100) to Home Premium. My question is, as far as email messages are concerned, will Easy Transfer also save the old messages that were imported into Live Mail this summer from when I was using Outlook Express in XP, along with those created in Live Mail, or will I have to import those again?

I'd like to save all those messages elsewhere anyway, just in case. Can someone tell me where they are located in Windows 7?

Also, can Easy Transfer save the stuff to a second internal hard disk in the same computer or does it have to be one something external?

Thanks in advance.

Denis

I know the answer to the second question, and that is that you can use easy transfer to put it anywhere you want. an external drive, a network folder, etc. as for the settings in mail, im not sure. i think that it will as long as it is your default mail handler. i know that in outlook it creates its own folder and i have never used it in easy transfer. my suggestion is to take the folder and back it up seperately to be sure that the files are still there and try easy transfer. Let us know how it works for ya!
