if you took a prescription drug that you don't have a prescription for, if that drug is in your system and shows up on the urine test, that will count as a positive drug test after the Medical Review Officer reviews it. They will ask you for a prescription which you don't have.

Go to rite aid. You can get the test pretty cheap. I can say with 99% certainty, they will test for opiates. I've never heard of an employer NOT screening for opiates. It's number three after weed and alcohol. That being said, you will pass the test. You'd almost certainly pass it after just 24 hours with just a little hydrocodone use.

A negative is a couple of days, a positive the MRO (medical review officer) calls and explains what they found, if opiates were found he would ask if you have a current scribt for it and offer to re-test, at your expense (same sample though), Monday will be more than 7 days and you only used a tiny amount in a cough syrup product, you will be fine..
