Question about domain name and URL

I have my own domain name (jonmega.com) and pay for a small webhost. I noticed that when you goto www.jonmega.com it fowards it to my webhost. It changes the URL to my webhost. I would like it to keep the jonmega.com threwout the entire site. Is there a way I can set it up as such ?

Your name is just pointing to the current url, like a roadsign if you will.

Do you have your DNS addresses set up properly with the place you registered your domain name at? If so, it might be that your hosting company has not yet setup the forwarding.

*Disregard. Apparently, your site is working properly now. I can see it anyway.

The zone file for jonmega.com is setup to point to jonmega.com (as it should) with an IP address of 216.148.213.149 (which is NameZero). What this means is that you are on a shared IP address and your host needs to make the necessary virtual name entry in the configuration file for the server.
