Question about Crossfire Bridge

I'm currently reading my Asrock Extreme4 z66 motherboard manual and on page 28 for Crossfire, it shows two AMD 5770 Radeons in Crossfire with one Crossfire Bridge and TWO AMD 5770 Radeons in Crossfire with TWO Crossfire Bridge ...

Does adding the second Crossfire Bridge do anything?

Its a typo, it should read 'three' and three. Crossfire needs 1 bridge per card.

The second bridge is optional, and is only included to allow for trifire.
