Question about Corsair TwinX1024-4400C25PT and C25

I was wondering if anyone has either one of these types of memory and how well they perform? I also wondered how much bettter the 4400C25PT is over the 4400C25? I was asking because on Newegg the C25PT is 325 but on Zipzoom the same memory is 269. Now the C25 is only 269 on both Newegg and Zipzoom. I read the review about it on Anandtech recently and was curious what everyone had to say?

I have the 25pt and mine IS a TCCD CHIP. Are you looking for a set?

your on an athlon, if im correct, than the PT is TCCD CHIP, which is pretty much the same as the non PT on athlons, but on P4's it ads a huge performance boost, if you are planning to go p4 on your next rig get it, if you are saying athlon/64, get the cheaper non pt.

the only difference between the C25 and the C25PT is the color of the heatspreaders..

PT is platinum (silver), non-PT is Black

just like with car colors, some are more popular then others, and thus cost more.

the IC's on these modules are Samsung TCCD. I have a stick myself, and they're rated for 275MHz FSB stock.. most processors can't even handle a FSB that high, so you have to have a really good motherboard / cpu combo to even run them at stock speeds.
