I just bought a new digital camera and I also bought 2 128MB Compact Flash. I also have and old Lexar 32MB Compact flash with a Jumpshot USB Compact Flash reader which works fine with only the Lexar "USB" enabled compact flash. Now my question is will those 5 in 1 card readers (Generic ones you find at Frys Electronics) be able to read my sandisk compact flash card or will I have to buy the official sandisk one. Any input would be appreciated :)

Try it with the old reader, it should work with that one.

Even if you have to buy the sandisk reader, they're pretty cheap (check buy.com), and they're excellent readers.

Might want to post this in General Hardware too, as it is a Hardware related question ;)

Yes, it will work. Make sure you get updated software.

I bought one one time that had the slot but the documentation said it will work with an updated version of the software! LOL. I only use CF cards.

Wow that is alot of space of compact flash - what camera are you using it for and how many hi res pics can you fit on each 128mb?
