question about coming to school in the U.S

so If you want to come to school to the U.S as a grad student, that means that you need to get a student visa. And during the interview to get that, you need to show a way to say that you have enough funds to go to school.

So do you need to show you have enough funding for the whole 4 years? or is 1 year enough?

I think you'll need it for four years, or at least the means to get funding in that four years (jobs, scholarship etc).

you have to prove you have enough funding to pay for all four years, which may be in the form of a loan, money in the bank covering the entire amount, or something else

the whole 4 years 🙂
I am an international grad student (I only needed to show 3 years because that's what my I-20 states as the length of study)
