My service provider is Verizon, I have the RAZR, now I want to flip over to a smart phone or a blackberry, but I was wondering if there are any Verizon phone that has a feature that iPhone has, to be more specific (ill cite wikipedia):

"The web browser displays full web pages as opposed to simplified pages as on most other phones. Web pages may be viewed in portrait or landscape mode and support automatic zooming by "pinching" or double-tapping images or text."

Any Verizon phones fit that description?

can you give us a model number or link to phones? i don't know how well the iphone does it, but my last phone was a windows mobile 2k3 based phone and it attempted to shrink down the pics, but not anything you would really want to use.

i currently have a wm5 based phone and haven't hooked it up yet via wifi so i can't say much for it, but if you are trying to look at a page on a 320x240 screen, chances are it is not going to look good. my current phone doesn't support wpa2, so i really don't want to reconfigure my router, let me see if i can get online via active sync with it...

WM6 devices should be out mid-summer, I would wait. The Q is probably the best thing they have going now. The 700wx isn't bad, I have the w but I wouldn't recommend that.

I would recommend going to the VZW store and playing w the phones there. If a phone is data capable, the ones in the store will be able to use it.

the other thing to consider is also and obviously the cost. i picked up 2x cingular 8125 for $25 (for both) refurbed from cingular, so 12.50 a phone, you can't beat it. ours get used hard, so i hope they will last 1-2yrs. they are pretty tough but if you really use them they don't last that long.

deepfish looks pretty cool. hopefully they will allow an upgrade to it on current wm5 phones. is the opera browser free?
