Finally I made it here to make a post I was side tracked and responed to 3 other posts....

Question: I got new CD-RW. Its a 10/4/32 HP and everytime i put a cd in it makes a loud sound similiar to when you put a playing card in the spokes of a bike. Is the Drve jacked up? I think it is but wnat to double with someone before I mail the F_cker in. Thanks in advance
 
Did you try different CDs, as well as regular audio CDs? The drive will spin up the CD when you put it in, and if it cannot recognize the media, it will keep spinning it for up to a minute.

Does it recognize the CD that makes that noise?..

sounds faulty so get it replaced under warrantee! 🙂
