question about cd-rw

I just purchased a cd-r off myinfinity.com (which i dont recommend buying from) and it has a few problems, when i tried to burn an audio cd, it burns it half way then stops and says there's an error and pops my cd out.. this has happened to a few of my cd's, i tried three different programs and each one does basically the same thing. i also tried different cd's it still did the same thing.
I checked the cables and power nothing works, if you have any suggestions for me it would be greatly appreciated.
