Question about capturing an NBC broadcast.

My cousin was in the news the other day. He's a teacher for a high school class in El Monte, CA and they filmed a class session about the genocide in Darfur. Here's the clip:

Is there any way to capture it and put it on youtube? I'd like to be able to reference it later if I could. If that isn't possible (copyright laws?), is there any way to get a copy of it?
 
It won't last on youtube. NBC/Universal studios tend to have their stuff removed from youtube.
