Question About Bios Date

This is my 2nd computer that I built. Built this one in August 2002. I just recently noticed that when I turn on my computer the bios date is 3/28/02. When I built my first computer, I recall that the date was the time that I actually first built it and plopped in the chip. Does this mean that this motherboard that I received was used?

Most likely no. An 8mo early bios date typically means you received a mobo that was sitting around on a shelf for a month or two.
