Question about ATI cards

I'll be building my own gaming rig shortly, but I dont want to spend big bucks on two crossfire cards until x10 is released. What would be a good temporary alternative? Something pretty cheap but able to run something like World of Warcraft without too much pain. Obviously I dont want to spend loads on it though as it will go to waste once x10 is released and I get my new xfire cards.

I purchased the mobo yesterday.. an ASUS P5W DH DELUXE.

What would work?
 
Some idea of a budget would be infinitely helpful, but I believe the X1950Pro is quickly becoming the new mid-range darling.
 
WOW will work well on most cards. My friend runs it on his 6800 vanilla at decent frames at 1280x1024 so you should be able to get by with a X1650 or even a card from the X800 series like a X850XT or X800GTO...those should be pretty cheap. Oh and I hope you're not gonna go crossfire then just play WOW, that would be a waste.🙂
