question about applying ASII to Tualatin CPU

The contact interface on Tualatin Cel 1.0A CPU is quite large. It's such waste for Arctic Silver II. What's the good way to apply ASII? Thanks!

Good question... same doubt on the p4. Maybe it's best to apply only on the center.

that's what i've had the best luck w/.... but somethe the AAII does stick to the card so the best way i've found to apply it is to put the AAII on one edge of the core and make one nice swipe across. Then smooth out any parts that might not have been probably covered.... jjust make sure you dont' use too much though!!! it can be a b!tch to clean.....

What I like to do is to smear it on the CPU and heatsink with my finger (covered in plastic or something). Seems to put a thin layer. I've tried the whole razor bit like the manufacturer says (on Coppermine and Tbirds) and didn't notice any measurable difference in my setups.
