There are quite a number of irrelevant benches at AT, 3D Particle is rigged while Sysmark is a joke of a bench, Cinebench can be used within a same brand but not for AMD/Intel comparisons, Winrar in its 3.8 version is obsolete and give misleading results in respect of the 5.01 version, and so on...

Ok, but i'm just asking whether the AMD Turbo Core system is enabled or disabled during the benchmarks?

Thanks for your attention! ;)

Turbo should be enabled on all processors that support it, AFAIK.

Lol, nice off topic rant.

Op, turbo is always enabled for benchmarks.

How is that off topic? He's talking about benchmarks and so is OP. Were your Intel feelings hurt?

OP turbo should be enabled for benchmark testing.

Op asked a specific question, not about benchmarks in general. Now I'm off to report your post.

He gave a link to Anand s benches, i guess that it s relevant to point him wich ones are to be discarded so he wont have to waste his time...

What is it that you have to be systematically agressive, are you here for technical discussions or to boast your ego..??.

Disable Turbo and overclock more.
Turbo will mess up a good overclock.

The dynamics of CPU Turbo modes, both Intel and AMD, can cause concern during environments with a variable threaded workload. There is also an added issue of the motherboard remaining consistent, depending on how the motherboard manufacturer wants to add in their own boosting technologies over the ones that Intel would prefer they used. In order to remain consistent, we implement an OS-level unique high performance mode on all the CPUs we test which should override any motherboard manufacturer performance mode.

This appears in the AMD and Intel reviews to which I gave a quick glance. Yes: turbo is on.
